"TWENTY" ADAPTED FROM "30 REASONS NOT TO BE IN A PLAY" BY ALAN HAEHNEL
SYNOPSIS: A play that urges you to not take part in it. In a series of hilarious examples, the show proves that acting can be a dangerous thing and should be avoided at all costs.
In the form of an oxymoron, this performance shows the importance of theatre, but also the less enjoyable aspects of acting for all ages. From the trauma you experienced in second grade, when your teacher made you act in a play, to the desire to join a theatre company where you have to deal with diction. All of this is meant to familiarise the viewer with the problems that can be encountered while pursuing a passion like theatre.
